This tiny private chapel was erected in 2021 in response to the needs of the Rev Jules Farrer as she continued through the seminary in the Liberated Catholic Community for Independents (founded by our Bishop - the most Reverend Angie McLachlan)
as she found herself in need of a distinct and separate place of contemplation. Consecrated as a place of worship within the Liberal Catholic Church tradition for the offering of the Mass, the oratory has now hosted the elevation and ordination of several beautiful souls as well as the Rev Jules herself. Located just outside Lancaster in the UK, the oratory is on private land but open to all with prior notice and in true Liberal Catholic tradition our Mass is open to everyone with no barriers whatsoever.

Mary Magdalene, as she is most commonly known, has been referred to as the Apostle of Apostles, telling the others of Christ's resurrection and teaching them hidden wisdom but her name has been much maligned - she has been called a prostitute and her status as a woman condemned her to be overlooked for centuries but her time is come to change such notions and our oratory is dedicated to her as a great wisdom teacher. Her recognised feast day is 22nd of July.
